3–5 Minute Progress Presentation

Brief Project Update — Thursday Workshop, Next Week

NoteWhat this is

Next week during workshop time, each student will give a 3–5 minute informal progress update on their project. This is not a formal presentation, more of a check-in to share what you’ve done, where you are, and get feedback from your peers.

Why?

These short updates serve three goals:

  1. Accountability: sharing your progress publicly helps you commit to your own timeline.
  2. Feedback: your peers can ask questions you haven’t thought of yet.
  3. Practice: articulating your methods and results out loud is a core research skill.
